I intentionally avoided commenting on this performance in the immediate aftermath of the game as a scattergun approach to my criticisms would have seen me alienate half the squad and walk out on the club. I was quite tempted. 

I begged the league to take us up because you wanted a fresh challenge, because there was no 'oirish' teams in the third division, because you wanted to 'enjoy' yourselves. Well i hope you fuckin enjoyed todays sluggish, lily-livered, cowardly, thick as a plank performance against a team who WILL finish in the bottom 3 or 4 teams in this division.
